Security deposit & settlements
What will be deducted from the security deposit?
After departure, the security deposit is routinely used to settle:
If any damage / extra cleaning is required, these may also be deducted (only if applicable).
The remaining deposit will be refunded within 14 days after departure.
How do you calculate electricity consumption?
Electricity is charged based on the meter reading. The rate in 2026 is €0.25 per kWh (excluding VAT).
How much is the tourist tax?
In 2026, the tourist tax is €2.20 per person per night for guests 18 years and older.
Wi-Fi & parking
Is there free Wi-Fi?
Yes, free Wi-Fi is available with download speeds up to 70 Mbit/s (depending on network conditions and usage).
Is parking available at the chalet?
Yes, there are 2 parking spaces, of which 1 is covered.

Yes. On the ground floor there is a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, so you can use (almost) everything on one level. A shower chair is also available.

There is a private infrared sauna in the chalet. Using a towel is mandatory (hygiene).

Yes, all windows have insect screens, including in all bedrooms.

Cleaning & waste separation
How does cleaning work?
Final cleaning is included and is shown as a separate line item on the invoice.
Do we need to separate waste?
Yes, we ask guests to separate waste according to local rules: paper, plastic/metal, cardboard, glass and residual waste.
In this region there is no organic waste (GFT) bin. That’s why we have a compost bin in the garden for peels etc.
Cooked organic food waste should go into the residual waste.

Can we have bread rolls delivered?
Yes. There is a local bakery that can deliver fresh bread rolls to the chalet on request. You’ll find details on how to order in the information folder in the chalet.
Help & issues
What should we do in case of a malfunction, or if something is missing or broken?
Please contact our caretaker/house manager, who lives nearby and can help quickly. You will receive his contact details before arrival. His phone number and other important numbers are also listed in the information folder in the chalet.
