Alp Chalet Gundersheim – Brand-new luxury chalet
This modern, detached holiday chalet in Alpine style accommodates up to 8 guests. It is set on a 555 m² private plot on the edge of the peaceful village of Gundersheim, in the sunny Gail Valley (Carinthia, Austria), with open panoramic views across the valley and the surrounding mountains, including the impressive Carnic Alps.
The chalet combines stylish comfort with excellent facilities: four bedrooms, three luxurious bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a bright and spacious living room and a private infrared sauna. The sunny terraces surrounding the chalet are wonderfully peaceful and offer beautiful, unobstructed views across the Gail Valley and the mountains. The balcony also offers lovely views over the valley and the local practice ski slope.

The chalet is non-smoking and pet-free, making it a pleasant choice for guests with allergies. The ground-floor bedroom with en-suite bathroom is also convenient for guests who prefer to stay on one level.
Good to know: a small number of additional holiday homes will be built in the area around the chalet in the coming period. The construction work is taking place on the opposite side of the road and therefore not directly next to the chalet. Depending on the construction schedule, some activity may occasionally be visible or audible during the daytime. Our guests consistently describe the chalet as a peaceful place offering plenty of privacy.

Notes
Booking & payment
You book Alp Chalet Gundersheim directly with us as private owners, without extra booking fees or intermediaries.
When booking, you can choose between two payment methods:
- payment by bank transfer
- online payment by credit card via our secure payment system
After your reservation, you will receive a confirmation email with all payment information. For direct reservations, 50% is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 60 days before arrival.
The tourist tax is calculated separately based on the completed guest registration. After we have received the registration details, you will receive a separate payment request for the exact amount. The tourist tax must be paid before arrival.
A security deposit of €450 applies to your stay. When paying by credit card, the security deposit is pre-authorised on your credit card one day before arrival and released five days after departure, provided no deductions are required. When paying by bank transfer, the security deposit is paid in advance by bank transfer and refunded after departure if there are no issues.
The listed rental rates apply to the entire chalet, regardless of the number of guests.
Arrival and departure days
Arrival and departure is possible all year round on all days of the week.
Different arrival and departure days may apply for the Christmas and New Year period.
