Exploring together
A variety of guided nature and mountain activities are offered in the surrounding area. One local professional, who is a recognised physiotherapist and certified Carinthian mountain hiking guide (Kärntner Bergwanderführerin), offers the following activities, among others:
Alles Barfuß · approx. 3 hours Experience nature literally from the ground up: walking barefoot, moving and becoming more aware of your surroundings.
Meditation in der Natur · approx. 3 hours Walk, breathe and unwind with simple meditation exercises and mindful attention to your surroundings.
Besser Berggehen · approx. 4 hours Mountain walking with a focus on walking technique, the use of hiking poles, mobility exercises and stretching.
Wald in Balance · approx. 3.5 hours Walking combined with balance, coordination, body awareness and moments of calm.
Guided mountain hike · duration by arrangement Head into the mountains together with an experienced guide. The route is tailored to your preferences and experience level, as well as the weather and conditions.
Time to relax
After an active day, why not take some time to completely unwind? During your stay, you can also book an individual massage directly with our local partner, a qualified physiotherapist.
Choose from options such as a full-body massage, a partial-body massage or a foot and leg massage.

Discover the Alpe-Adria region
The days you have free are just as important. From the chalet, there are plenty of possibilities: Carinthia’s mountains and lakes are close by, while Italy is also within easy reach.
Stroll through the market and city centre of Klagenfurt and combine it with a visit to Lake Wörthersee. Or take a day trip to Udine and enjoy the Italian atmosphere and cuisine. Of course, you can also simply go hiking, cycling or swimming, or enjoy a relaxing day at the chalet.
Austria today, Italy tomorrow – and back home together at your chalet in the evening.
Activities especially for your own group
During three selected weeks in spring 2027, a local provider offers the opportunity to book nature and mountain activities especially for your own group of friends.
17–23 May · 24–30 May · 31 May–6 June 2027
Activities take place on weekdays and are tailored to your preferences and experience level. Participation is entirely optional and subject to the provider’s availability.
There are also opportunities outside these weeks. In our guest information folder, you will find information about regular activities in the area, guided mountain hikes and massages.
Rates during the selected spring weeks
Stay at Alp Chalet Gundersheim: €225 per night · minimum 5 nights
Final cleaning €175 · service fee €75 · tourist tax according to the applicable local rate.
Price example for 8 guests: 5 nights including final cleaning and service fee: €171.88 per person Excluding tourist tax.
Prices for Private Group Activities
The independent provider charges €280 per activity per private group. For a group of 8 participants, this works out to €35 per person per activity.
Good to know
In unsuitable weather conditions, an activity may be rescheduled or cancelled. If an activity ultimately cannot take place, you will not be charged for it. If the guide is unexpectedly unavailable, a replacement may be arranged where possible for a guided mountain hike. For the other activities, a replacement is not always available. If an activity therefore cannot take place, any amounts already paid will be refunded by the local provider.
